This year has certainly been challenging, the lows of being unable to work in the pandemic but also the highs of meeting all of the lovely families who came to me once we could reopen. In the downtime I entered some awards (which I would never have usually done) and I’m so honoured to have won 72 accolades this year.
These include Pet Photographer of the Year at the prestigious TNPS Awards, alongside third place in the Children’s Photographer of the Year category. Other highlights include winning the Grand Prize at the International Child Photography Awards, winning several Golds in the Focus Portrait Awards , being placed in the Top 30 in the world in the highly prestigious international The Portrait Masters Awards and receiving an Award of Merit For Excellence in Photography from the World's Top Photographers Awards.
Publications include the front cover of Baby Model Magazine (and the calendar) and featuring in both International Kid Model Magazine and Child Couture Magazine as well as being listed in the Top 10 Authors For Children's Photography in Inspire- Digital or Not Fine Art Photography Magazine.
Every year I invest in 1-1 training with the photographers who inspire me the most so a big thank you to the quite incredible Roberta Baneviciene Photography for her invaluable help and support this year and to the amazing Djeirana Photography who continues to help me online with her artistic wizardry. I’m looking forward to tapping into the huge knowledge bank of the wonderful Sharon Wallis Photography in the new year for all things newborn!
So thank you to everyone who continues to support my little business, it’s much appreciated and I can’t wait to capture more of your beautiful memories with you in 2022.
